] Some of us are doomed to spend our lives spotting things that are out of place in television and movies.... my specialty is telephones.... spotting them for the wrong era, manufacturer, or country, but fortunately, there were NO telephones in JA's time!Roger, I have to concur I am doomed to noticing small imperfections. Gosh I see one or two on my face everyday!!! But I digress.
Another thing I have noticed in the various BBC productions of late are the snow scenes. I don't mean to quibble but I thought northern hemisphere plants lost their leaves in Winter? This is unlike here in Australia where most of our natives shed their leaves all year thereby always retaining the semblance of leaf cover. If you visit our snow regions (yes we have some) you'll see the Snow Gums with quite a lot of leaf cover even when covered in snow.
If you chance upon seeing "Our Mutual Friend" you'll see what I mean. ;-)
