An answer for all those who couldn't find their name

This list of names has always been done manually.(A not very interesting and laborious job, at the best of times.)It just might be that it was overlooked, or that you never reported there in the first place. If you think you have added your name, but cannot find it on the list, then please report it on the Newbie Board. If you have never introduced yourself there, then follow the same procedure.
And just for the record, the Biographies contained in Portraits of a Community are quite separate from the Names List. If you are not in the Biography section, it is because you never put yourself in.You may do so if you wish, but it's not absolutely essential. The Names List is important, however, as it's our way of ensuring that two people do not post under the same name, which can be terribly confusing for everyone!
