A few weeks ago I posted an account of my experience at Fort York and promised to post some pictures. I am just now getting around to that. Below are two pictures. The first is of some people who were demonstrating various Regency era dances. The building behind them is a blockhouse. The second is a photo of how the table was laid out at the luncheon given by Major Sandler in which all the recipes were from The Jane Austen Cookbook. Clockwise, starting at top, is Smoked Salmon, Asparagus in the Italian style with nastursium pods and mustard sauce, meat pies and pate, ham and in the center is a cabbage salad. ~ Marie Bernadette
