Anyway, it was quite an interesting and different view from our dear Jane. She's quite amusing in parts in, I guess, a slightly vulgar way. And quite aware of her inability to attend Almack's.[

I found this little gem (Harriette' Memoirs) by searching by title online tapping into the catalogues of 2ndhand bookstores. I posted the link further down the board somewhere ....
