wedding traditions

I have been sent, by Lady Catherine herself to you, for advice on my upcoming wedding. It is in the month of October, and I would like to have it fit with a Regency theme, as closely as possible. I am looking for styles of wedding gowns, bridesmaids gowns, food, drink, services, dances, music and of course, lovely traditions. As I saw in the film, S&S, the groom tossing coins to the well-wishers after the ceremony. I assume this has to do with bestowing good fortune on the couple and everyone. It is these types of sweet traditions, I should like very much to incorporate into my own nuptials. I hope you can help me, your most faithful servant,
