Wrong period!

I just saw a program , though, one of those day-time talk shows, where the guests all wore corsets. They apparently wore them all the time, not as costume but with their everyday clothes. Their waists looked grotesquely (not the best speller) thin. Perhaps there is some sort of group that you can write to and get this kind of information that you want. Try contacting mail-order companies that specialize in these corsets and they should be able to help you there. On this program, there was a guest that spoke on behalf of a mail-order company and she said that the corset business was doing very well and most of her clients were not reinactors but wore them everyday. One of the guests (very strange - she had a huge body and a pencil-thin waist that looked about ready to break in half) said sheslept with the thing on.
