In P&P2, is the type of cap Lady Catherine wears a widow's cap? I know that during the Victorian era, women could show their marital status with the type of cap they wore. Was this the same during the Regency? I notice that Charlotte Lucas wears a small cap at home and under outdoor bonnets after her marriage to Mr. Collins. Would Lizzy wear one after she became Mrs. Darcy?
