Apparently, it could be used for medicinal purposes.
Reminds me of Scarlett sneaking that Brandy after #2 died. Washing her mouth out with eau de cologne!! Somehow I can't see women drinking anything other than wine at dinner unless it was a medical or emotional emergency.
