I should have explained for those who don't know about Rue. When Rue(Ruta gravolens) is in flower and fruit it gives off an oil that when it touches the skin magnifies the suns rays so greatly that it can cause 2nd degree burns and leaves lasting scars. I guess you can say you "Rued that day".
