I have a book I'd forgotton about that this discussion reminded me of. The Afternoon Tea Book by Michael Smith. Just flipping through it I'm remined I liked it and actually tried some of his recipes! At a glance the chocolate rcipes are from this century. (No hot chocolate) Have you heard of this book/author. he consulted on "Upstairs/Downstairs."
