] (Snip) I wish you would have seen it (and perharps you had). The worst thing was that there was nobody to share it with, because of my two friend one had already returned to Argentina and the other has no much patience for museums of any kind and takes her 30 minutes where it takes me 1 hour, I search for the dresses among the postcards and books, but they were not there. :-(
] Sorry for rambling, :-)
Oh Constanza -- I was there this past January, but I was alone. It was much less fun without anyone to share the experience. On the other hand, I don't know anyone who would have spent as much time there as I did. Unfortunately, the museum was in transition, taking down an exhibit of wedding dresses. I probably saw about half, but I spent at least 3 hours sloooowwwly going through the Assembly Rooms and the costumes. Since it was January, I practically had the place to myself. I literally sat on the floor in front of the displays so I could read every bit. Then I did the JA walking tour Bath, but that is a subject for the Travel Journal Summaries section of R o P.But lest you all pity my being alone, it was just for the day. I am fortunate enough to have a very dear friend who lives in London. She was working that day, and I took a day trip to Bath. Even luckier, I go there once or twice a year. If I could figure out how to get the British equivalent of a green card, I'd be there now.
