Do you mean Gracechurch Street in particular, John, or the City in General? Detailed historical Geography is one of my passions, as you probably know. Helen managed to link Gracechurch Street to some radical pamphlets, which made me consider whether he really was a printer ( I must admit, the thought of a printer with 'warehouses' is a bit mindboggling!)
I'll also admit that I don't want to think of him in terms of the smuggling trade.He's much too nice a person to be swindling the government out of their rightful due !(says she with tongue firmly in cheek.)
