In response to Short hair during the regency?, written by Cath W on April 30, 1998 at 17:11:03

To L and T index ] I've been looking at the links to the regency period and read that some women wore short hair. Does anyone know how short and during what years this was a fashion trend? Does anyone know if their are any pictures anywhere?

] Thanks for any information in advance.

I've often wonder what was the fashionable/functional length of hair to wear. Susannah Harker's hair (Jane) was obviously that long in real life, but what would be considered "normal", or too short or too long?
