--- since MaMa hardly ever uses the TV other than to watch JA adaptations (and the occasional The Simpsons episode) (ok, ok, and The Nanny wedding episode and Ellen's farewell episode!!!!!!) all your information has given me renewed vigor toward redoing our parlor so that not every piece of furniture faces, as I believe Beth put it, "toward the corner."
Listen for the screams of indignation from PaPa et filles in the not-too-distant future. I've every confidence they'll be audible in the inner sanctums of Rosings Park, itself!
