To L and T index ] Decorations, are a different matter... where are you having the dance? depending on your settings, your decorations will have to go along with that variable...the easiest thing to do would probably be to buy some long swatches of fabric, and drape them over collumn-type things.... from all the pictures (plates) I have seen of the regency balls, there weren't any decorations as we know them...but you can improvise on that...watch the Netherfield Ball scenes in P&P2 (A&E's version) and see if you can get any ideas from that...



Flowers were a popular decoration in general too ... candles might be out of the question depending on the building's fire code, etc, but wreaths of flower and swathes of green ivy etc could do the place up quiet prettily, and quite inexpensively, considering it's spring and your students could raid their gardens ...
