] Of course, it has its detractors. Almost every one of my friends who has seen P&P2, while loving the adaptation, were less than enamored of the costumes. Naturally, we have entered into some good-natured, albeit heated, debates over this issue!
When I first got hooked on P&P, I thought the costumes looked like night gowns. I've grown to like them quite a bit now.
