To L and T index
.......the Joy Of Cooking

I checked and they have a number of recipes.....but more importantly, this book is a great reference.

I COOK. I always have. Between my Mother who is an extrordinarily great (Ukrainian) cook (better baker!) and The Frugal Gourmet (child molester!) Julia Child, Grahmn Kerr and any other cooks on PBS! I am a very good cook. It's not hard.

The point is: I consider The Joy of Cooking the most comprehensive compilation of cooking facts ever! It can offer answers to almost any food question. I always reccommend it to "beginners" because the recipes are very good, simple and most importantly tell you more than you need to know(in some cases, WAY more, like skinning and cleaning game!)

Don't think of it as a Cookbook, think of it as a reference book!

You don't have to be culinarily challenged!

Yours,
Marie
