Nelson's house at Merton was revolutionary in that it pointed the way for modern sanitation, having had one en suite bathroom attached to each of the five bedrooms. Does anyone know about this and specifically, does anyone know when this bathroom was installed? And I'm not sure I understand. Does this mean that he had a bathroom attached to each bedroom or does it mean that he had one bathroom which was attached to all five bedrooms? I hope I am making sense! My sources are vague. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it. I'd really like to know.
