To L and T index ] I know (from Monty Python of all things) that it's supposed to be a stinky animal.

] When I looked it up in the dictionary the first definition was "European carnivorous mammal of which the ferret is considered a domestic variety" and the second definition was "skunk" - Does the polecat do a similar spraying thing or is it "something completely different"? ; )

My dictionary only adds that the European word for it is "fitch," which in turn I had to look up. It said that it has very dark black, almost purplely fur.
