I have to agree with Ken here. Modern France has no real place on this page . I can accept JA and Napoleon, I can accept JA and modern England,but discusion of modern politics in general is a no-no, Pemberley-wide, whether it be the California State Elections, The White Australia Policy, Northern Ireland Peace talks,The death of Pol Pot, or Canadian Salmon Fishing Rights. They're just not cricket(which is also banned, BTW!)
