Boy Kay, you're right...a duet would make a great addition to a story, very romantic. It could also be used as a bit of hilarity somewhere. I liked the mention of the duet in S&S, it added a bit of discomfort for the poor Colonel and Marianne. Perhaps one of us will write one in somehow to a fanfic story.
