Of Age

Thumbing through P&P for the 1000th time, I noticed for the first time that when Mr Bingley's father dies and leaves him his money, Bingley has only been 'of age' two years or something - so how old does that make Bingley? I always pictured him a little older. When did a man come of age back then?
