Asian fashions in England...

To L and T index I did not notice the objects you are inquiring about but "Asian" styles in that period was very popular. I believe Schonbrunn of Austria boasts
a "Chinois" room that imitates certain aspects of Chinese art. England has long colonized China and they have great admiration for many "Oriental things". Tea and porcelain from the Far East are some of the objects that are treasured in England. So it would be no great surprise if the Bennetts have porcelain or other materials created to imitate Asian arts.

PS perhaps you will have greater luck with your ducks if you name the new leader of the herd Captain Wentworth. The Navy always know how to keep their crew! =)
