] On a personal note, as a lover of history for as long as I can remember, my first fascination was the Little House book collection. I wanted to be a pioneer girl and live in a log house until adolescence.

Oh! Me, too!

But what I always wonder is that if we could be transferred to Regency with our present family connections and everything, what would we become? Would my father, who is a historian, be a "gentleman" or not? With all this education it is difficult to tell who would be what. How would a long line of academics, for example, be regarded as a family?
