Ball gowns

If you look in the links, you'll find several fashion pages there. I n at least one of them (probably Joanne's) there are some pictures of ball gowns from the Victoria and Albert Museum, circa 1803. One of these is bright, bright , red silk, and there's another purply black one somewhere. I don't have time to look now, so perhaps someone else can.
