Welcome, Wanda.

Hannah More is an interesting character, as is your subject. Are you merely curious, or working on something? As has already been mentioned, Our Tempestuous Day is an excellent source. The author is Carolly Erickson, and you will find her research to be quite reliable. Depending on what you are looking for, her more recent book, Her Little Majesty, The Life of Queen Victoria, addresses the powerful influence which the Evangelical Movement carried into the Victorian period. Not as detailed, but quite helpful.

For some information regarding the pro-Africa/anti-slavery position of the Evangelicals, as well as an overview of Evangelical tracts and literature, read The Birth of the Modern by Paul Johnson. And most any good text book will devote a few pages to the highlights. I like Willson's History of England. Good reading!
