Evangelicals and Mansfield Park

There is a theory that Jane Austen was influenced slightly (if only for a very short period in her life) by the Evangelical movement when she was writing Mansfield Park. It is likely her opinion of the movement did vary during her lifetime. It has been some time since I read Mansfield Park, however. My memory of the novel is more of Austen's interpretation of town versus country values.
