That's it... cap guns. I remember now. My brothers and I used to play with them when we were trying to scare off the birds from our school yard! and cats too! Come to think of it, I think it was me my brother's were trying to scare away! Those were the days! (and here I speak as if I'm long in the tooth and I'm 32) How was I to know that those cap guns would suddenly be brought back? But every other parent evidently knew it! It was a conspiracy! Where do they get this kind of information? I mean, these things must have sold out fast for Christmas...if every parent was buying one. My poor little boy! I'm hoping for a skateboard this birthday but I think my husband is afraid my son will break his head. Roller blades? Nix for the same reason. Perhaps I should settle for a toy guillotine! Or a gun that shoots plastic bullets!
