In latest Persuasion Charles Hayter and Captain Wenthworth shake hands.
Since this adaption feels very 'true'. I just reflected on watching the improvised dancing at Uppercross, just ordinary people jumping about having a good time. Not even the dancing at Aunt Phillips or Lucas Lodge were that easy ... Balls -- and Assemblies would be more formal I suppose?
