question about Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet characters

My question is in regard to the fact that many authors of this period patterned their characters after actual, historical individuals. Are the antagonists, then lovers, Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennet fictional creations of a historical couple of whom Jane Austen knew or was aware? If there was such an historical couple, what happened to them? What happened to them after they were married, which is the closing point of Pride and Prejudice.
