children's book

For those of you who have young children, grandchildren or nieces, I've found a unique child's ABC book, entitled ABC, Costume and Textiles from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art by Florence Cassen Mayers. 1988 and pub. by Harry N. Abrams, NY (A Times Mirror Company) $9.95
ISBN 0-8109-1877-3
I'll note that I found the book at Borders for $2, they are trying to get rid of them.
It's a wonderful picture book of ABC's featuring historical plumed hats, platformed shoes, a peacock-feather fan, a Pre-colombian tapestry, dresses, mittens, parasol, early nineteenth century ribbons, wigs, and (my very favorite!) an X-ray of a 1790 French Incroyable doll! (I suppose they could not find anything that began with the letter X).
There is a mention near the publishing information of other ABC museum books, which include ABC Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and ABC Musical Instruments from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The others are completely unrelated to this board!
