] According to the Book of Common Prayer (the official prayer book of the C. of E.), every minister is required to say Morning and Evening prayer in his church, or wherever he happens to be if he is away from his parish, every day. If he is in his parish, a bell is to be rung to signal the start of the service and anyone who wants can attend.
Thanks Helen...I no longer have a copy(not required in Canada!)
Now, you -who reveals -all-on- church- matters, what about Mr Elton? I bet he would keep the services religiously (;-P), take great delight from the most modern of hymns, ensure that there were new flowers every Sunday, and generally be as pious as he could! What say you?
