In response to S&S, written by Marie Bernadette on February 26, 1998 at 01:02:36Thank God for Linda!! Colonel Brandon, but I wasn't nearly as taken with him as I was Captain Wentworth either! I enjoyed Sense and Sensablity very much, but P&P2 was my first experience.(and I MHO, the best thing that I have ever seen.) As a matter of fact I'd rate them 1. P&P2 2.Persuasion 3.S&S 4. Emma.
I have read only Mansfield Park but have P&P and S&S in my stack of "to be read"
I'm also looking for Desire & Duty, now that I know that it exists (thanks to the republic of Pemberley) and Darcy's Story. My personal obsession with P&P2 is quite out of hand , the Republic of Pemberley has been a god-send. I just got on line 3 weeks ago and only found Pemberly a couple of days ago. So I'm still exploring and trying not to offend anyone.
Thank you for your kind words and help.
