I was thinking of "Sense and Sensibility" when I asked the question. I loved the movie version (have not yet read it in novel form yet, but I want to). I thought it was a beautifully done movie and it was the first JA adaptation that I had ever seen. And, do you know what, Marie? I couldn't remember the character's names either! Willoughby was the scoundrel and there was Captain...Argh! I can't think of it! I keep thinking of Captain Wentworth (because I was quite taken with him, I must say) but that's from "Persuasion". I remembered Willoughby because I was quite taken with him as well, eventhough he was a ne'er-do-well. I am sure someone from this board would be happy to jog our memories!
