Sounds like this is for a fan-fic!!
I have some detailed information on funerals of the 1800's, but they are mainly for Canada, and of Catholics. I think wakes were very much a Catholic thing, so I wouldn't expect to find them in the Austen characters..
Here's a couple of bits that I have picked up from somewhere and stuffed in my memory.
The church was decorated with black cloth swags.
Women did not usually attend funerals (I've never managed to work out why).
Burial was usually within afew days of death- no waiting around for lots of relatives to arrive.
