Anyone who is a baby boomer or older has actually watched this happen. So sad.
Cassia, you and I seem to meet in many of the same disussions! You'll be glad to know that here in NYC partnered dancing is coming back. Summer dancing is being offered in Central Park: they give an hour of lessons and then a live band plays. Apparently the crowd is quite young.
