For an easy, non-academic read, try "Our Tempestuous Day" by Carroly Erickson. It is out of print but available thru most libraries. As I recall, it had a good deal of info on the Luddites.
The old stand-by, Birth of the Modern by Johnson devotes a couple of pages to the matter. Somewhere I believe there is a Byron bio which contains some interesting tid-bits, but cannot recall the name. How much info do you need? If you are writing a paper, let me know and I will scan my serious books.
