In response to Henry Crawford or Henry Tilney??, written by Linda on February 08, 1998 at 18:16:15

To L and T index... and pull it over my head;-)

I don't care, everybody has to slip up sometime and I believe in doing it in fine style so you can all savour the moment... ;-)

I don't know why I just assumed Henry was the NA Henry, MP didn't even cross my mind... perhaps it's because I don't find Henry Crawford (the real one) very attractive. Oh yes, I do know though. We were talking about young girls fantasizing about celebrities and there not being movie stars in JA's England. Henry Crawford may be glamorous, but Fanny Price isn't attracted to him. But Henry Tilney is the nearest thing to a glamour boy to enter Catherine Morland's world - think of him as a Leonardo DiCaprio if you will... so I just went with my subconscious thought processes rather than stopping to read what you actually said...

Helen, who thinks it's probably about time she did some rereading...
