To L and T indexCaroline,

I apologize for the trouble I have caused you. The notes I used for the geography are actually quite old (made before I had ever even been to England) and it easy for me to see how I could have made horrific misplacements. However, the geography was not the point. If you disagree with the point of my message, which I suppose that you do, that is your right. But whatever I am, or whatever you assume that I am, I did not deserve any of your poor choice of words.

You suggest that I not take your words personally, I think I would have to be inhuman not to. If you had pointed out my terrible discrepancy in a more dignified manner, I would have laughed at myself in my embarassment. I was not paying much attention to the Geography as that was not my mission but I certainly would have payed closer attention the next time.

If I have made a fool of myself in the past, which was many an occassion, I was the first one to note it, and did so verbally. If your intention was to drive me away, you failed. I think I'll stay and torment you more as I obviously have been doing for you to store up such animosity.

You mention leaving sources. I have not seen these passages on this page lined with sources. Often times I have many sources for what I write and it seems ridiculous to list them all, given that I would probably be the only one doing it. Occassionally I have had a request for a source (though not with any animosity) and I have given it forthwith.

For your own health, I would suggest you remove my message from the board completely, and so that it doesn't do anyone else any harm. I was not aware that someone was grading my paper and so I am very embarrassed as I know, that in my haste, I must have made many gramatical errors. The next time you wish to express your dislike of someone, I would suggest you do it by E-mail. That is just plain good manners. I hope you don't take my message personally.

Patricia
