To L and T indexNone of us really can.

My response is tainted by my own experience, education...context, which obscures and ulitmately nullifies itself. Yeah, I could say that I'd work in a house, teach children, stand by a machine; but are my tendencies a product of the age (late 20thc.), or are they something inherent? Honestly, I don't know what I would do if I existed in the early 19thc.

Experientially speaking (i.e., from my vantage point), I'd go to Germany (in drag) and try to catch some of Hegel's lectures! ;-)
