As I am reading a particular biography of Jane Austen (not the same one everyone else is into now) I have been coming across many names and places that have been used in her novels. Which would lend to the idea that she was one of the authors who borrowed from what was familiar (although I have read that this was not necessarily so). If anyone is interested, I can go through the book and list these names and post them. Perhaps together we might point out which ones were actually used. It should not take too much time to collect these names but I should hate to go ahead if the information is not interesting.
