] When he was serving on board the Unicorn, Jane's brother Charles sent topaz crosses to his sisters, Jane and Cassandra. This picture shows both, now on display at the Jane Austen House in Chawton. The one on the right is Jane's.

This is to say that I liked seeing the image of
Jane's and Cassandra's crosses.As you might remember,I post
ed on another board on the exact same subject and you were
going to post the images but I guess you were not able to
get around to it.Now I know which cross belonged to which
sister.I had always wanted to know that.
