Yes! I did read that. It was a wonderful view into the other side of life. What I mostly recollect was how the narrator longed for books and the odd way the big dumplings were cooked and the hot bath, and the "as far as possible" sponge bath. I have forgotten what the peasantry thought of the soup. Can you detail it for us?
