The more I think and read about Jane Austen, the more I think that she is a genius, and outside the normal train of any thought. Like Shakespeare and Mozart, she cannot be defind in terms of any School of thought.

And , as it's come up, does anyone want to discuss what Lionel Trilling said about her and her work?
