This is a topic better suited for the HELP! board, which since discontinuation of the partly redundant Business board, serves as the place to discuss site admin and policy.

A while back, before putting in the links to the Homework Help policy page, we talked about this, and lots of people share your view. We finally resolved on deploying the wild story tactic for only the most dense and clueless students, who display their membership in this category by 1) Admitting they have read the policy but still ask for easy help, or 2) Come straight out and say they haven't read the book and don't intend to.

The others, I guess deserve a break. They won't know we just had 4 students asking the same thing already today.
