I can't answer your specific question, but one of the best JA related things I ever saw was a "Jane Austen Card Set". The set included a booklet with the rules to all the games mentioned in all her books, and quotes showing who played them and when. The cards themselves were replicas of early 19C cards - hand painted and with no numbers in the corners which makes it quite difficult - its hard to tell the difference between and 9 of hearts and a 10 of hearts at a glance when you have to count the symbols - though you do get used to that quite fast.

A friend of mine was given it by someone who got it for her in England. We tried all the games and our favourite was Casino.
