Is there some way of identifying information that isn't of the guess/hearsay/conjecture variety?
The reason I didn't cite sources for the house stuff was because I was talking about what I did for my work,and answering any questions that arose. I felt at the time that I shouldn't take up too much space. If anyone had aked directly for sources, I would have provided them.My very long post I turned into a fan-fic, because I didn't want to write a "lecture" and fill up the whole of Ramble! Also, I feel that the fan-fic format blurs the line between fact and imagination, and some things are more acceptable there than on other boards. However, this board is for getting to the bottom of things, and I feel we have to be a bit careful.
As said above, as long as people make it clear whether their info is sourced, or just something vaguely remembered, we should be alright.
