What about Patrick's idea? Which proposal do you think is the most successful, and why? Is Knightly's off-the-cuff blurting better or worse than Wentworth's passionate scribbles? How would Henry Tilney have done it? Do you find Darcy's first proposal at all appealing? Does he have anything to learn by studying the Collins approach? (seriously, now!)

Personally, I like Frederick's way.........
