Every year, the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) has its conference that lasts 3 or 4 days. There are plenary speakers, breakout speakers & discussions, a banquet, trivia contests, JA related exhibits, various forms of evening entertainment (sometimes a regency ball with card tables, like last October in San Francisco, and sometimes theatrical performances), field trips, and usually a small Regency Fair where chapters and vendors sell their JA/regency related wares. This year's location is Quebec, in early October. In addition, there are more than 30 chapters that hold various events throughout the year. See the Jane Austen Society of North America web page for full information.
