I have been looking for The Glove and The Lions for years! It was in the English book when I was in 5th grade, and we memorized a great many of the poems for it, but not this one.
I remembered it was about King Francis, and the last line of the last two stanzas and that was all. Thank you for sharing it.
I'm also fond of Abou Ben Addhem
